The Albergo Pietrasanta: Off the Beaten Track in Northern Tuscany
This is a wonderful Hotel in the northern Tuscan village of Pietrasanta. I found this hotel on my recent trip to Italy when I wanted to use Hyatt points for some unique hotel stays. I was traveling from Cinque Terra and looking for an overnight stop on the way to Sienna in Tuscany. I decided to stop for the night in this medieval town that is part of Versilia, the coastal area of northern Tuscany (South of Carrara and north of Pisa.)

The Hotel Relais Ducale is located across from the Piazza Grande in the historic part of Gubbio. The hotel is in a 300-year-old building that eloquently combines medieval character with modern conveniences.
